This small secondary bedroom came to us as a completely blank slate. In an effort to help personalize the client's otherwise neutral home, Mercurio helped to transform this small bonus room that was once an office into a warm and inviting space that could host overnight guests. Mercurio focused on adding moments of interest and personality by way of layering varied textures and patterns, such as graphic stripes, checkered waffle weaves, and mixed-scale prints. Dark plums, warm oatmeal, organic linens and camel-colored boucle come together to tell a rich color story. The result is a palette that feels energizing and bold, while still remaining sophisticated and comfortable.
