Blue Bathroom | Cambridge, MA

This small condo bathroom in Cambridge needed a fresh upgrade from its outdated late-1980s outfittings. With social clients who like to host and have people over frequently, this guest bathroom also wanted to leave a lasting impression while still providing necessary storage and function. Inspired by the watery hues of the neighboring Charles River, and a clean New England palette, Mercurio pulled together a palette that is refreshing and clean, while also adding in a bit more personality. Warm oak cabinets, lapiz-blue micro-mosaic tiles, and warm nickel fixtures provide a fun Scandinavian-leaning aesthetic to an otherwise clean and quiet backdrop. A new medicine cabinet, dimmable glass light fixtures and additional storage help transform this bathroom into one guests won’t forget.
