Jaz Bonnin has worked as an Interior Designer in Boston since 2017. She holds an MDes in Critical Conservation Studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and a BFA in Interior Architecture and Adaptive Reuse from the Rhode Island School of Design. While at University, she was co-founder of the the Harvard Indigenous Design Collective (HIDC), which supported the education and work of Indigenous architects, planners, designers, scholars, allies, and alumni of the Harvard GSD.
Prior to founding MERCURIO in 2024, Jaz was a lead designer at award-winning Boston design studio Wolf in Sheep Design, working with clients in the luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces. There she gained valuable hands-on experience working with subcontractors in the field and learning from industry veterans. Prior to that, she worked in Landscape Architecture for clients in Southern California. In addition to her design work, Jaz is also an adjunct professor, teaching Architecture Theory and Criticism at Endicott College in Beverly, MA.
